Becky Roland and the
Double Stops

Memphis-Based family fiddle band. Playing traditional tunes with fiddles, guitar, and harmonies.

Mary is a very social 3rd grader. She is great at baking, fashion consulting, dog walking, and staying up past her bed time.

Anna is in the 6th grade. She enjoys reading, sewing, and riding her unicycle. She plays violin in the Memphis Youth Symphony Program and in her middle school orchestra.

Becky (mom) grew up in Starkville, MS but is now a proud Memphian.
She enjoys fiddling, cooking, and being outside. When she's not with the Double Stops, she plays with Goodtime Grass and also works as a Registered Dietitian at Friends for Life.

Becky and the girls enjoy playing shows and jamming at home and with local friends. They especially enjoy learning tunes in the tradition of Texas Style Fiddling, taught to them by their mentor Chris Daring, an inductee of the National Traditional Country Music and America’s Old Time Fiddler’s Hall of Fame.
